The 21st-Century Musician Initiative is looking to launch the next generation of chamber ensembles re-imagining the future of art music – embracing the entrepreneurial-mindset, bending and blending genres, connecting to audiences where they live, and strengthening the communities they serve. To do this, young ensembles of 2 - 8 will compete for a $10,000 prize, a performance at Le Poisson Rouge, a new recording, and business and marketing mentoring for a year.
